The product

A clearer account of the problem. A stronger basis for what follows.

Phaseplane helps consultants turn a client situation and selected evidence into a structured diagnosis, examine that diagnosis, and revisit it as the picture changes.

What it is designed to help you do

  • Understand the issue more clearly, including the parts that are not obvious at first.
  • Move toward a resolution with less uncertainty about what is actually going on.
  • Reduce the work of assembling and revising analysis, leaving more time for understanding the client, testing interpretations and deciding what to do next.
  • Work through a complex problem without holding all of it in your head.

01Diagnosis

Start with the situation.

Bring what is happening now, what the client wants to change and the constraints already in view. Add relevant documents, notes or other supported evidence. The analysis works within the information supplied; missing context still matters.

The diagnosis is the usual starting point. It gives the rest of the work a shared account of the problem to examine.

02Evidence

Make the diagnosis inspectable.

A useful explanation should be possible to examine. Phaseplane presents diagnostic findings alongside evidence relationships and uncertainty, so you can distinguish the reading from its support.

Look at what supports a finding, what challenges it and what limits what can be concluded. Structural explanations remain interpretations where the evidence does not establish causation.

Observation

Priorities change after work has started.

Unresolved intake decisions may generate interruptions and rework downstream.

Open question

Does demand also exceed the team’s capacity?

New evidence starts a new analysis round. The earlier round is kept.

Illustrative: how a finding relates to its evidence, using the diagnostic example. Not a product screen.

03Revision

Keep the work open to revision.

New interviews, observations and interpretations can change the picture. An analysis can be revisited as the evidence or your interpretation changes. When you revise, you record what changed, and earlier rounds are kept rather than silently replaced.

A report can be exported from a versioned analysis for review and discussion. The consultant remains responsible for checking the material and deciding what to present.

04Commitment

Then examine the commitment.

Diagnosis is the usual entry point, but the same evidence-first approach extends to decisions. For a specific proposal, Commitment Check considers how far the supplied evidence justifies proceeding. Depending on the evidence, that can range from further exploration, through a limited or conditional commitment, to a stronger commitment.

It explains what is holding the boundary in place and what would justify more. It does not approve the decision or take responsibility for the organization’s choice.

05Next steps

Carry the understanding into the next conversation.

Next-step planning helps turn findings into options and questions for the people involved. The analysis can identify signals to watch, questions to revisit and conditions that would warrant a reassessment.

Phaseplane does not monitor anything by itself. People observe what happens and bring new observations and evidence back into the analysis when it matters.

06Your judgment

Built around your judgment.

You retain the client relationship, domain context and final professional judgment. When your reading differs from Phaseplane’s, the useful next step is to inspect the evidence, assumptions and missing context, not to accept the software automatically.

Questions

Does Phaseplane replace the consultant?
No. It supports analysis. You remain responsible for client context, verification, professional judgment and the decisions or recommendations you make.
Does it monitor the organization automatically?
No. It can identify signals to watch and questions to revisit. People bring observations and updated evidence back into the analysis.
How is it different from a general AI chat?
Phaseplane combines model-generated analysis with structured inputs, evidence relationships, validation and versioned outputs. Commitment Check also applies defined checks to the proposed assessment. Those controls support examination of the result; they do not make it infallible.
Can we start with our own client material?
We begin with an introduction and suitability discussion. The working session and any pilot are scoped around the case and the relevant data-handling requirements. Please do not send client documents through the public contact form.

Let’s talk about the work you do.

Tell us a little about your consulting work and where Phaseplane might fit. The first conversation is an introduction, before any case session or pilot.
